I'm taking break from MFP for the next 5-7 days. I will continue to log in and will catch up with everyone in a weeks time. I don't know what's wrong with me. I know I'm manic again. UGH, and I truly thought VLCHFMP was for me, but I'm finding it's not. I need some me time to try to figure out what's going on mentally as well as physically. (No- it's not the carb flu). I will still be reading post, but don't feel I am in a position to help people at this time.

    I am wondering if the production of ketones might be triggering your manic episode. For many folks, the transition period (the first few real strong days of adaption) make folks having racing thoughts and difficulties sleeping, and all that. It might be a case of riding the wave. For normal folks, it's like a week long thing. Mine was shorter, thought I stay with the brighter clearer bit a lot... Have you done any research?
