"It works" tummy wraps and BF

Is it safe? It says not to do when pregnant or nursing but I feel that's just a catch all thing all companies put on their products to avoid being sued..... I looked at the ingredients list. The only suspect ingredient is camphor oil which I know is dangerous if pregnant but not sure if breastfeeding. Camphor oil metabolizes out of your system in 2 hours, and I was thinking to wait 4 hours to nurse after applying the wrap.

Thoughts?
Experience?

Personally I would not recommend using the wraps under any circumstances...pregnant, breastfeeding, or otherwise. They work by just emptying your cells of their water content (so basically dehydrating your cells...not good especially while breastfeeding) and over a few weeks you probably won't have any significant results unless you continue to use them on a regular basis because your cells will just rehydrate when you drink water. Will help you look good quickly but is really just a temporary fix and if you have to use it should only be for like a wedding or something and then get back on track losing weight the healthy way when you return.

This^^^ They will help you lose some inches due to loss of water weight, and then it will come back. They do not make you lose fat, at all. The only thing that makes you lose fat is a calorie deficit and exercise (preferably heavy lifting). I personally wouldn't use them, breastfeeding or not (and I am breastfeeding). Hope that helps :flowerforyou:
