Aria scale vs. Fitbit Calorie adjustment

I have an Aria scale (been using it for about 2 years now), but do NOT have any kind of Fitbit activity tracker. I notice that MFP hits me with a "Fitbit Calorie Adjustment" every day, which I delete so as to keep my log accurate.
Is this adjustment coming from Fitbit, or from MFP itself? Either way, why does the system assume I'm using an activity tracker when I'm only using the scale?
