The best thing to happen to my squats?

Injuring my tailbone. I fell while hiking and couldn't squat without feeling like I was about to pass out.
Once I was able, I began squatting with just my bodyweight, focusing more in depth on my form. Today, I was able to go back to an empty bar and I walked away with no pain at all. The ROM has greatly increased and I feel more comfortable with the exercise. I'll steadily increase my weight and hopefully be back where I was before getting hurt.

That's a nasty injury. I've done it myself, three times that I can remember. All of them were over 20 years ago (the first time was at age 7) but I can remember how it felt, and the healing process, vividly.0
