Who is gonna take the men's and women's title this year????
My pics:
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - He's got spark, a wicked serve, and powerful ground strokes. I think he has what it takes.
Sloane Stephens - I dig her poise and consistency. She's getting stronger and stronger. Plus she's BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Love Sloane Stephens. She seems so level-headed and unaffected in interviews. But, you know, and I know, she is not there yet.
I go with Sharapova. I think she is finally all the way back from her shoulder surgery. (Yes, it takes a long time to recover all that lost ground.)
BTW, I hate this Serena/Maria flap, and I blame the journalist. He knows when he picks up that item that he is just stirring the pot and that she would not want that published. But, he used it to create a flap. If there is a story in Serena, then make it compelling by being intelligent. Don't just be deliberately provocative.
Is it really news that these two people -- each of whom is trying to prevent the other from achieving what they have dreamed of for a lifetime -- have hard feelings towards each other?
Men's side? I go del Potro. Mostly, because it would be too boring to go Djokovic or Nadal.
Murray, I think, will be overwhelmed by the intense pressure. Del Potro has the length, the volleys and the serve that give such a great advantage on the grass of Wimbledon.0 -
Sloane Stevens' day will come but not yet. I am looking forward to seeing her in DC at the Citi. I don't think Serena is stoppable.
Men's side is tough, today's upset is big news, no spoilers here. I think del Potro has the skills but not the mental toughness. I dont think Murray is 100% physical right now, so I am going with Djokovich, one of the writers had Sam Query as a dark horse, I would love to see either Sam or Isner go to the champion level.0 -
-Novak Djokovic
-Serena Williams0 -
I want Andy to win! He made me cry last year when he lost in the final lol. Hopefully winning the US will ease some pressure. I think Novak will win though. He is just so darn goof.
Womens side.... Serena. I dont like her but she is on a whole different level. I would like to see someone new win, like Kerber, or Wozniacki, although I'm fairly certain that won't happen.0 -
wow what a match for Murray. since there are no Americans left id love to see him win it for GBR.0

C'mon Sabine!! Love her!0

I love the way Sabine plays, but really like Bartoli's unorthodox style. As I'm from Scotland it has to be Andy Murray for the Mens singles :-)0

It was great to see Andy win, but I think the match of the tournament was DelPotro v. Djokovitch.
Thank goodness for espn 3 which let me watch doubles, Here's to the Bryan Golden Slam!!!!!0 -
Andy!! So happy for him!0
