Alterations!

I picked up my dress this weekend and it's too big, as I knew it would be! I ordered it for the size I was at the time, since you never know where the weight will come off from. I feel both really pretty in it and sort of wide. It's a beautiful dress and I'm proud of myself for losing weight and inches since ordering it but I've stalled out recently and am feeling like I need a huge big push before starting the alterations. I definitely don't want to pay for them twice!

I need to call the seamstress this week but am hoping I have about six weeks I can wait...that will give them six weeks to do the work...so fingers crossed, and in the meantime I'm pounding water and the pavement!

Good for you! I have not purchased my wedding dress yet, I am kind of hoping to get down to around my goal weight before ordering it. You seem to be very motivated, and I am sure that you will look gorgeous on your day
