Healthy Recipes of the Week!

This is one of my favorite sides! Or you could add in some chicken and maybe more veggies and turn it into a stir fry type meal too. If you haven't tried quinoa yet, you should! It's delicious!

Garlic Mushroom Quinoa

Also, I thought I'd share this link with tons of Larabar recipes. Larabars are my go to sweet tooth snack and I usually have things on hand to make some kind of variation of them!

Larabars!

Share your recipes you tried last week or would like to try!

In the theme of quinoa, here is a delicious fall recipe. It makes 2 servings, in MFP the calorie count came out to ~400/serving. I used vegan maple breakfast sausage by Field Roast. I find quinoa very filling so it was a great lunch.

I've been rocking out this overnight oats recipe this week - I'm not giant on breakfast (I'm giant on SLEEP), so I've been whipping up a 5-minute breakfast the night before and stowing it in the fridge for the morning. If you love chocolate and you've got 5 minutes before bed, this 2-serving batch of Brownie Batter Overnight Oats recipe is heaven!

Omg this looks amazing. My biggest obstacle is how much I bake so if I can get those flavors and not the calories that would be perfect!

I'm making this shrimp scampi for dinner tomorrow night, I've made it previously. It's quick, full of flavor and delicious! http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/15-minute-skinny-shrimp-scampi-recipe/ I plugged into MFP, it's 450 calories per serving.
