Make a list of 5 things that work for YOU! They don't have to work for everyone, just your "go to" things that have a solid impact our your healthy lifestyle journey. Follow that up with 5 things that you're currently trying and/our wanting to try to incorporate into your routine for even more positive results.

    The Fab Five
    1. Working out first thing in the morning. This keeps me from finding a way to push off my workout. Plus it's nice to just get it done and it gives me energy for my day!
    2. Drinking lots of water! I've noticed that drinking 1/2 my body weight in ounces of water makes for less hunger cravings.
    3. My Garmin Vivofit. This little bugger vibrates to let me know it's time to move. I work at a desk and can get really engrossed in what I'm working on so it's great to have a reminder to get up and walk around. Not to mention, it gives me a step goal based on my historical data so it's custom to me.
    4. Viewing the restaurants menu before I eat out. This helps me make a healthier selection versus waiting until I'm hungry at the restaraunt listening to others discuss the not so (delicious) choices they're going to make.
    5. Patience! This one word says soo much! Converting to a healthy lifestyle and/or living one is a daily act of awareness. Sometimes I'm going to slip up, some weeks there's going to be more or less progress than the next and that's okay.

    1. Avoiding sweets. This is an all or none thing for me. It's something I'd really like to get under control.
    2. Cleaning out the junk and keeping it clean. If it's not in the house to eat, it's a slam dunk to avoidance.
    3. Eating out less. Some days eating out sounds so nice with the not having to cook or clean up, but I really want to avoid the extra calories and the added expense.
    4. Running errands on my bike. This one's a balancing act between the 3 other members of my family and our schedule. Although we have been able to bike to our weekly farmers market 3 of the last 4 weeks.
    5. Daily Meditating. I know how beneficial this habit is for meand my family. It's just something I need to work into the schedule.
