Progress Not Perfection

There will be days when it will seem like you can't do anything right. That's when the food will beckon and call your name. If you give in and eat, forgive yourself and move on. Holding onto resentment and feeling guilty or ashamed for letting your anxiety drive you to food, will only increase your stress and make even more food seem like the only answer. It's not.
Food and your body are not the problem. Hating yourself is. A binge is your body's way of dealing with your anxiety by asking you to pay attention to what's upsetting you.
The truth is changing your eating is a process. It takes time and it can't be rushed. Despite the fact that diets offer a promise of quick weight loss, you know better. Diets have a near 98% failure rate because they fail to teach people how to address the emotions that make them feel compelled to eat when they're not hungry.
I'm an author and a stress relief expert, and I work with women who struggle with hating their bodies by giving them tools to manage their emotional eating and be more self-loving and confident. For the past year I've successfully used a system of dealing with my stress in combination with using self-compassion to short circuit my binges. As a result I have lost 21 pounds and I'm no longer PreDiabetic. I'd love to help you get healthier too.
Stress shows up in your body as a flood of toxic chemicals that interfere with your body's ability to lose weight and directly cause you to store excess fat in your abdominal area. When you confront the anxiety producing emotions that are creating stress in your life, food won't cast a spell on you. You'll find yourself eating less because it feels better and you like the taste and feel of eating healthier foods.
Maybe you've faced the pain and anguish that comes with weight resistance; when the number on the scale doesn't budge or goes up. I'm here to help.
