This challenge wasn't my best. I lost 10 pounds but could not get it to stick. I guess I was less diligent, but maybe my body wanted a break, it's been almost a year of challenges and I've done great.
While I had really hoped to lose overall during this segment, I knew when I went to NOLA at 197 instead of 185 it wasn't going to be.
I'll weigh in tomorrow and announce the damage. I had a lovely vacation, lost my streak for reporting, but that happens. New behavior on my holiday though: I used the gym at the hotel!! I was so proud of myself for doing that. I did walk a lot, but not sure anything could have combated my old school food/alcohol choices in NOLA. However, that was the deal I made myself, to be completely free to have whatever I wanted all week. I can't imagine I used to eat like that and much worse for years. I've changed so much! Our two suitcases weighed what I've lost and I tried to pick them both up and walk across the terminal...I couldn't do it. I couldn't walk 10 feet with them. I was floored at how much weight I would have been carrying around and how much of my vacation would have been spent saying "No you guys go on ahead..." if I hadn't begun this journey. Instead I was like, "Come on Honey, you're like a pokey puppy today..." and "No we don't need the trolley we can walk there, it's not that far..."
I have every intention of keeping on with my established program. I love the weight I've lost and don't want it back. I need to double down and go for another 50. I have decided to set a very challenging goal of getting to 170 in February and that's going to take some focused HARD CORE WORK. To do this I'm going to make some modifications to my activity; push it up a little higher, do more than just cardio and reign back on the calories again.

Am here at my son's for Thanksgiving and I am sick!!! Haven't been sick for ages and this is really bad timing.
Feels like the flu! Sore throat, congestion, achy, and no appetite!
Feel really bad and can't sleep. It is 3am and I am wide awake!!!
Need to feel better because we have a lot planned!0 -

Eninad, you have worked so so hard for so long. Sometimes a break is just what we need to kick it back into gear; I know you've got this!! You are so dedicated and determined I know you can kick any goal you set. We'll be here cheering you on!0

Shirley-I hope you feel better soon, that is awful to feel bad on vacation.
Eninad- That is great that on vacation you used the hotel gym, just remember all the good changes you have made, and the changes you still want to make.

Hey guys! Any thought to what the next challenge should be? This challenge was about three and a half months; next one Loose 20 by St. Patrick's Day on March 17th? Or Easter on March 27th?0

Maybe not the best time for a final weigh in, lol. I am up .09 this week. On this day of thanks i say thank you to all of your support, kindness and inspiration!! Looking forward to the next challenge!!0
