Hello! I'd be happy to have online friends to keep me accountable. My 40th birthday is coming up in February and I have gained 25 pounds over the past couple of years that I want to lose. I'm going to shoot to lose 2 pounds per week, but even 1 would be good! I'm currently at my all time high weight of 144.5 pounds. I'm short and I've always been small so this is a big bad change for me. Good luck to everyone!

    Hi! I'll also be 40 next year, September. And I also have weight I'd like to shed but is sticking to me like glue! :( Started going to the gym last week with my husband, went 4x which is great for me! This week....I caught a cold. So, feeling sorry for myself, I thought, I would join a support group to help and hold me accountable. I've tried diet pills (I know, I know, but I was desperate) I've tried the Atkins diet, Clean Eating and nothing has worked. So, I need motivation to exercise AND diet. Looking forward to looking great as a new 40 year old! :)
