Maintenance 6 Months

Hello everyone. Thought I would give you an update. It's been 6 months since going on maintenance and about 14 months since starting NS. It's been going well. Here are some bullet points:
- I still use NS foods because I enjoy the variety and the prepackagedness of it. I use them mainly Monday to Friday at work for breakfast and lunch. I am working on slowly replacing them with regular foods, which I have already done on weekends. My goal is to stay with NS foods at least for a year of maintenance before really trying to go off them.
- I'm maintaining at 140 lbs for the past 6 months.
- I log my food as often and as accurately as I can. Good or bad, I own what I eat.
- My maintenance calories are about 2200-2300 cal/day
- I rarely have splurge days since my daily caloric allowance is so high. But I still have them, especially on Thanksgiving, and this coming Christmas and New Years.... going up as high as 5000 calories in a day.
- I lift weights 3 times a week, doing the Ice Cream Fitness program. A very simple beginners program which has gotten me great results so far.
- I do cardio in the form of HIIT 2-3 times a week. I'm slowly working my way up to 20 minutes. Right now I'm at 15 minutes per workout and doing it on a rowing machine.
- I have replaced my entire wardrobe with size small clothes, I wear 30 inch waist pants, and they're still sometimes loose. I've donated all my old clothes.
- I'm 6 months away for being eligible to register for the National Weight Loss Registry.
- I'm happy and healthier than I've ever been, and my wife thinks I'm hot than when we first met in college. How good is that?!
I realize it's not the NS foods specifically that help you lose weight, but maintaining your calories. Keep it up and you'll get there!

What is the weight loss registry?0

The National Weight Loss Registry is a study done to research obesity. They follow over 10,000 people who have lost over 30 lbs and have maintained it for at least a year. They study what these people have done to successfully lose weight and keep it off. Check out their website and learn about them.
I discovered the NWLR when researching how to maintain all my hard work.0 -
Congrats! I am on my 9th year of maintenance, and I STILL have to log my food and exercise. Well, I don't have to, I want to. I was plagued by nearly 15 pounds that snuck back on my after year 6, but I have been able to finally lose those this past year too. It's for life! You can absolutely do it!0
