If you had to choose one, which one would you choose and why?

I used to think eating right was way overrated as long as I worked out. If I had to choose between eating an ideal diet and sitting on my *kitten* all day and eating crap while exercising at least 30 minutes a day, I would still probably choose the latter. I have felt a lot less tense, more alert, and less stressed at times in my life when I have exercised regularly. That said, the only eating challenge I ever attempted was a race to consume a 64-ounce milkshake at Zephyr's circa 1996, which I was leading for a while but fell behind and lost to Colin Stoetzner when the thick whipped cream had settled to the bottom and was jamming up my straw.0

Colin had stirred his in before starting - not cheating, just keen strategy.0

I'm a much better exerciser than a dieter. Given the choice, I'd rather exercise so I can eat what I want but clearly that's not the best approach. Adam sent me an article a while back (A - see if you can post it??) which emphasized the importance of nutrition. The article went so far as to say that if you're stretched for time and have to choose between working out after work or grocery shopping for the week/meal prep, always choose groceries and meal prep. An interesting perspective. I'd still rather just exercise though. It chills me out and keeps my crazy pants in check!0

If I could down a 64oz milkshake and get away with it from a caloric perspective, I'd be all over that!0
