Holidays and vacation are over.... Back to reality. My goals for 2016: 1. Meet my weigh loss goal and 2. Run a 1/2 marathon on May 1st. Hoping each goal helps the other. Best of luck to everyone in achieving you goals!!

1200 calories/day are not many after all the holiday indulgences!!

Having a hard time today. Really really hungry. But I will do this.

I have been starved too. It's going to take some time to adjust.

Yes! But MFP always helps me get back on track. Good luck to you too.

I have saved a few calories for a snack in about 1 hr. I can't sleep if my stomach is rumbling.

I am feeling the same way. Glad I'm not the only person in the lifeboat right now. At least we can all sink or swim together right?

We can and will get back to it after these past indulgences. It will just take some motivation. And you guys here on MFP help so much with that.

Hope your holidays were Merry and bright. Mine were but kind of glad they are over and can get back to my routine.

Had a great day yesterday. Stayed within my 1200/day calorie goal.

Weighed 119.8 this morning. Down 2.2 since yesterday. I know most of it was probably water weight from too much sodium. But pleased anyway. Would like to lose another lb or two before I leave for Florida on the 17th of this month.

Finally got all my steps in too after slacking off the last few days.

Good luck everyone. How are you all doing in this new year?

Thanks Stephanie. I feel your pain. It is hard to get back with it. But must dig deep for that motivation to stay within my calorie allowance. Got to get back with what helped me before the holidays.

Dinner time and after is my hardest time too. I save a few cals for that extra snack or small meal after dinner. I know we should not eat after dinner but when you eat at 5:30 I just have to have a little something before 9. Usually it is peanut butter or some cereal with milk.

I am already noticing that I am having fewer sugar cravings since I am away from the holiday sweets. It's nice to feel better.

Yesican- Glad you are feeling less sugar cravings, I am still having them. I did throw some fudge out but made some cookies, luckily my husband eats them mostly. Janice

I am doing alright. I had some bananas that were in desperate need of being used so instead of making banana bread I made chocolate banana pudding. I shared some with my daughter in her lunch at school and her friends thought that would be a yummy snack. Her school does not have a kitchen so if they make things it must be in a crock pot. So I googled crock pot pudding. I of course as any good parent would had to make a test batch. HOLY COW!!!!!!! Would never have guessed it came from a crock pot. So now Iris can make chocolate banana pudding for her friends next Friday.
