This is me in Jan 2015 and Nov 2015. My age is 53.
I credit 2 programs to helping me reach my weight loss goal in 2015.
1) Precision Nutrition. This is a 1-year, online, fitness/nutrition coaching program.
I was very happy with this program and my results after years of yo-yo dieting and binge eating.
Just sharing the link if anyone is interested. http://www.precisionnutrition.com/
It cost about $1,800 for the year (yeah a little pricey) but was totally worth it to me for daily accountability and support.
I worked out at home so had no gym costs. ~Pam RN
2): Overeaters Anonymous (OA). This is a free 12-step support group that helped me heal
my relationship with food so I could succeed in my weight loss.
Also highly recommend OA, which is for people of ANY size who struggle with overeating.
Here's a link to find a meeting. https://www.oa.org/membersgroups/find-a-meeting/

I started at 262lbs. The first 20 pounds were lost under doctor supervision with phentermine. I only took this for one month as my resting heart rate was over 120 after the first month. The rest of my weight has been lost with MFP, CICO, and just being more active. I'm 70lbs down, with 50 to go.
Edit: my pics didn't post.
My starting weight on the left, the right is the same tank a few weeks ago.
July of this year vs September of this year, 12lbs.0 -

Last week was what I call my 1 year fitaversay. So far I have lost a little over 50 pounds in that time frame. I am not near my goal weight but I am definitely a lot closer than I was a year ago!

Hey, all of you are amazing. I'd like to post mine - it's small progress but it's visible and I think it will be motivating for me. However, I'm not sure if it's ok because I am in underwear and the sight is not so pretty

Post away Helena. I've seen lots of underwear progress shots. They are common and not so different from a bathing suit shot.
Congrats on your progress. It all adds up!

Thanks. So I've lost 27 lbs in 3.5 months. Last pic is today. This is really the first time I can see it. I felt it earlier but seeing it is even better. I hope there will be more pictures this year.
P.s. You can see the camera angle matters, too, but no matter how I rotated my phone,I still couldn't get a shot looking as big as before. I'm really glad post pregnancy belly is getting smaller. The areas that bother me are belly, back and arms.
So far most of my loss is thanks to Mfp. Especially the supportive community! I have 41 lbs to go until goal weight.0 -
Very motivating to see all the pictures and progress. Restarted the journey about 45 days ago, looking forward to being able to post pictures in the future. Great job ladies.0
