Anyone else see this? Is on iplayer if you missed it. It was interesting to see the protein experiment, was wondering whether to add protein shakes to my diet but won't bother now. They also dismissed energy drinks as little more than flavoured sugar-water. I'll be exercising after eating something from now on too (when my dodgy knee heals).

    I sometimes have a protein shake on days where I know I'll be lower on protein than I'd like but I don't have them religiously.
    The experiment with when to exercise was interesting! I usually exercise first thing on an empty stomach but I'm going to try a few hours after eating now. My only concern is when I've done it previously I just ended up feeling sick.

    In my 3 plus years on mfp I have come across many people who use protein shakes just to boost their protein intake and only one who was a lifter . I never really understood why they did it. Now I think they were mistaken in their choice.
