Feezer bag slow cooker recipes

Has anyone tried making what is called freezer bag recipes? Have they turned out good for you? I'm wanting to try some but my freezer is so small that I can't do a whole lot. I am wondering if I could do the same thing but put some in the fridge instead and use them for the week rather than freezing them.

I am hoping this group is still being monitored since most posts haven't been since last summer.
