I just joined this group today and I wanted to say hi!
I've been running for almost 2 years now. I've competed in numerous 5k's, 4 milers, and 2 half marathons. Training for 1/2 number 3 starts next week. I'm going to attempt to train for a full this fall!! I look forward to reading others advice and learning from more experienced runners!
So hello fellow runners!! The running community is the BEST community to be apart of!!

Welcome! And good luck with your training!
The transitioning from training for a full rather than half-marathon follows a similar pattern of training. The challenge for a full in the fall is all the summertime heat you have to deal with as you train.0 -
Same here gouldy, last year did a few 10k, 10mile and a HM, booked for 2016 a hm in March and full September. Want to be friends? I started training last week. Have you a mileage your working to?
I'm currently running my longest at 9.5, and a total weekly of 33miles. Seem a long way off but have lots of time..0 -
Welcome! I was a Couch to marathon over a span of 14 months. Every time I do a race, I got excited and signed up for the next bigger one and just kept going.
Luckily I stopped at 26.2.0 -

This made me, literally, LOL!
Hi Gouldy and welcome! This is a hugely knowledgeable and supportive group! We have similar goals, so we should be friends0
