I think I'm going to have to just drop out the gluten again.

I'd like testing but I really don't need the official word if eating gluten free makes me feel better. I'm tired of the irritable bowels and cramping and want to see if cutting out gluten will help. I had done it for a month or so before by using gluten free pasta and avoiding breads all together.

Don't forget that there is hidden gluten in lots of other things, check all labels, and for those who are very sensitive - cosmetics like lipsticks and balms, and body building hair products like shampoos, conditioners, and styling products can contain wheat proteins. If you don't think that matters, think about why patches are used for nicotine or medications.... Yep, it can be scary.

I wouldn't worry about getting tested unless you need it for medical insurance purposes. Not sure where you are, but in Canada we get a tax write off for the difference in cost between GF products and regular products (if we have a diagnosis). No doc's diagnosis - no tax write off for GF products.
