Food temptations at work

Any food pushers at your job? I know it takes time for others to see we are serious about the changes we're making. I've caved at times but am getting bolder in holding my own. Recently someone planned a potluck and I said I won't be eating anything but I'll bring the plates and utensils for the group. I stuck with my own food that day.
On occasion I'll sample something in the break room that was homemade by a coworker but will skip the store bought stuff. I try to be selective. After about a year, people are used to my ways and I feel more confident being assertive. Not that I don't sometimes stare with lust at the gooey treats but I'm pretty much in the habit of not going there.

No food pushers but lots of homemade goodies every day. It is hard to resist sometimes but I try to limit my snacking to just the best looking stuff0

I'm the only one eating vegan. But even before cutting out dairy and eggs from my already vegetarian lifestyle I learned to mostly stick to my own snacks/meals. Most 'treats' at work are too sweet now, processed or just not appealing anymore. Eating vegan makes it even easier to ignore food in the break room. I always have some fruit or nuts or veggies to snack on though or vegan muffins. I'll bring fruit or veggies to potluck. I don't feel that I miss out0

In med school whenever there is a meeting/specialty interest group/etc there is ALWAYS free food, and it is usually pizza, chick-fil-a, etc. It is SO hard to say no to. I try and bring my own food or get a salad at our cafeteria beforehand if I can. I do get odd looks though. A lot of people only go to these things for the free food haha.0

When we have office lunches, I always sign up to bring salad. I know I will have something to eat that is healthy.. Sometimes I don't go at all but then I feel antisocial0 -
Our department's nick name is Crochet and Buffet (childbirth). We eat all the time. Everywhere. It makes it really easy to stress eat!0

We have more food in our cancer center than the cafeteria at the hospital. Chips and dip is the hardest to avoid for me.0

I bring my own food. I work nights and the cafeteria closes at 9PM (but Starbucks is 24/7). My problem is the continued planning of potlucks, mostly for no reason. I'll contribute to the holiday ones or something, but a lot of times it's because someone's in the mood for grilled cheese night, or taco night. I don't feel the need to eat/participate in something because someone else has a craving for it. I think they've gotten used to me now1

Not to be intimidating to anyone or any form of kindness, but I thought this one is worth reading...
