Bombedpop - 19 - not gonna happen. Prepped my taxes for acct yesterday and just needed a glass of wine after :# why does it take 6 hours to prep everything when you are paying someone to do them :/

I know what you mean. Four or so years ago, money was super tight, so I decided to muddle through and do them myself (both my corporate return and our personal return). We'd had the accountant do them since I went into business for myself in 1998. The next year, we could have afforded having them done again, but I decided it wasn't really worth it—after finally figuring it out myself. It's still a little stress-inducing, but I've continued to do them myself ever since. It's almost fun, although I would never want to make a living being an accountant. Once a year is plenty for me!

I actually made it. Barely. Today's my scheduled rest day, but I've taken plenty of nonscheduled ones that I decided to do one only for the purpose of meeting the challenge. We'll both do it next month!
