We had taco salad last night for dinner, and there was some leftover cooked ground beef. Also a little bit of chopped red onion.
So, this isn't really a recipe, but more of a thought process.
I was thinking bacon and eggs for breakfast. The bacon was cooking and I went to get the eggs..... Dangit! Out of eggs!
So this comes into my head:
Reheat the beef with the onions. Crumble the bacon over it, and then add cheese.
Now, in this case, I was in the mood for cream cheese, so I added that when everything was almost cooked. It made the cheese nice and melty, but not melted.
I put it in a bowl, and added some hot sauce on top, and ate it with a spoon.
OK, shoot me... it really isn't a recipe. But it sure was tasty!
( I guess I could make it a recipe, but that seems like too much for this small idea. )
