I would probably only recommend it if you count "net carbs" (Carbs minus fiber & sugar alcohols) because when I first added the ingredients it was over 20 carbs. To me, it's a very personal choice whether you count all carbs or just net carbs.
The only tweak I made to the recipe was to omit the added almonds and pecans. The consistency was just like if you took regular oatmeal and chopped it up a bit. Needless to say, it completely cured my craving for oatmeal.

I have that guy's book. It is actually too big a book! I have only found a few recipes that really work for me.0
