Back at it after holiday indulgence , delayed infusions due to winter colds, and the ever so sinister effects of prednisone stop gaps.

It's such a love-hate relationship!! I'm on steroids for Myasthenia Gravis and Neuromyotonia/ Cramp-Fasiculation disorder.
A low/ moderate carb diet has helped me cut the cravings. That and eating pickled veggies when the sweet cravings hit!1 -
Ugh.... Prednisone is such a love/hate thing with me too. I love how helpful it is, but I hate that it has caused me to gain weight and that I can't seem to get any lower than 5 mg. I did increase a few weeks ago when I had to stop my other meds due to bronchitis. It really set me back in my pain level, my fitness level and everything really. I was so tired and the prednisone helped me function, but I lost my exercise motivation0

It's for sure love/hate for me as well! I have finally weaned down to 10 mg and I've been here for 6 months now thanks to the paleo diet. I haven't been this low in over 3 yrs. I just got the ok to wean to 9 mg and then got a kidney stone go figure. So I will try again next week to wean. My adrenals are shot from daily prednisone since 2008. I couldn't have made it this long without it though.0
