On holiday in USA-not giving exercise credit

I'm on holiday from the UK in NJ. MFP is syncing my steps from my Fitbit Charge HR but not giving me extra calories for exercising. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

    Is there no entry at all for Fitbit adjustment, even 0, under Exercise Diary?

    It notes the steps but MFP hasn't adjusted the calories.

    Yes, I got that part - which is why I asked very specific question that may help answer what is not working right, or may be.

    Because MFP does more than just adjust the calories - and shows you the steps behind that.

    Hence my question on where it all starts. Perhaps you were answering my question - but I don't know that considering the number of new Fitbit/MFP users that don't understand the steps behind it.

    Is there a line for Fitbit calorie adjustment with the blue "i" icon.
    Click on it.

    What are the values? Use given terms please.
