"I miss the crunch" sandwich.

One thing I miss with not eating carbs is the "crunch" so many things have. This is not a perfect solution, but it works. And I just had it for lunch, 3 minutes ago.

2 slices of American cheese ( I bet others would work )

Your favorite deli meat.... about 2 - 3 ounces ( sometimes I use leftover rib-eye, YUM!! )

Condiments.... I use mustard

Take the cheese and place it on parchment paper, and place in your microwave. Zap it for about 75 - 90 seconds. Take it out of the oven and let it cool a minute..... even better if you can lay the parchment paper on marble or quartz counters as it cools faster.

The cheese will be rather crunchy, and take on a different flavor ( I like the flavor; kind of nutty )

Put you meat and condiments between the cheese, and enjoy!
