Well, after much pulling out of my hair over trying to figure out how much "7 packets" of gelatin is (17 grams) , I made this recipe this past week-end. The original recipe is for black licorice flavor using anise, but if you are not a fan of that flavor, you can always use a different extract. I used 1/4 teaspoon anise oil + 1/2 teaspoon cherry oil and the batch turned out nice and mild. They turned out really well and it was very easy, quick and simple to make. I plan on making a batch of peppermint and a bath of apple soon too. I also used this gummy bear mold which I am hugely impressed with:

One final note: I used liquid sucralose to sweeten the recipe to keep the carbs low and these really are a VERY low carb treat! And did I mention how much fun they are to eat? lol Enjoy!
