    One more day of training then I'll be back to normal eating and exercising. I'll have to work extra hard to meet my goals this month. I'm up for the challenge though!

    I'm still hovering here! Have finally got my appetite back and I'm eating more normal stuff. Yea! Up and around doing some little stuff around the house too. I go back to the dr in a month so I think I'll probably be cleared for a return to normal stuff. Looking forward to working out and setting some goals.
    Funny.... the day of my surgery, I realized AFTER I came out that I hadn't logged in here and didn't want to lose my streak! I made my husband bring my phone to the hospital so I could log in. Yea, crazy. :wink:

    @k80flec. ... very interesting! Thanks! I know sometimes they get off. Wasn't sure if they'd reset it if I'd actually missed a day (surgery or not!) Lol!

    @Laughter_Girl I feel the struggle! Feels like we just need a fresh start for spring!!

    Doing well. Can't believe it's only been a week. Pretty much pain-free, and it's great being off all the meds. My wt is finally back down to its normal number too. I'm thankful I spent that extra time doing upper body strength training the last couple of months- I think it helped me getting up and moving more when my abs were so sore. Funny how those things work out!

    We're expecting some 50 degree days this weekend so I may try to take a couple short walks w the kids.

    @k80flec, yes! Great quote! !! Even if we're not making our goals, we're still in the game... logging, and haven't given up. It's a lifestyle at this point, right?

    You ladies are doing great! Keep up the good work.

    I'll be back at it soon! Feeling about 98% now.

    Checking in to say I am alive, but busy. I have had several days this month that I didn't even log lunch or dinner because I didn't take the time. I was stuck at my 164 post Christmas weight, but did manage to move down to 163 last week.
    I have been logged everything since Saturday and have been green since then. We'll see how that affects my trip back to 155 when I weigh in on Saturday morning.
    Hopefully, I'll be back on a daily basis in March. I miss you guys!

    @Laughter_Girl Today, the best I could do was Chevy green. I was 19 calories over. I can live with that on clinic night. (My church runs a free medical clinic on Thursday nights and I am one of the volunteer office staff. It's a much needed ministry and I am always blessed by it. We had 16 patients tonight and a couple for blood pressure checks and blood draws.)

    @MelissaPhippsFeagins - glad you're well, but busy, and moving in the right direction, albeit slowly. Remember slow is good, it means you're still trying. <3<3
    @bbinoa - is the 98% still creeping up slowly???

    I've finally succumbed to the dreaded cold virus my grandbabies have been bandying about - sore throat, headaches and runny nose . . . . . could that be why my running pace has considerably slowed???

    Hi everyone!
    Doing pretty well here! Had a Dr appt and he said he's fine with me doing more, so if I want to use the stationary bikes at the gym etc I'm good- just take it easy, listen to my body etc. I'm allowed to drive now too. I go back in a few more weeks and will hopefully get the "all clear" back to normal. In the meantime, I'm working on my plan of action /goals for the next few months.

    I'm a little sad bc my youngest daughter wants to do "Girls on the Run" its this awesome program for girls... they work on self esteem and train for a 5k. My oldest daughter has done it and it's great. It culminates in a 5k that they run w an adult running buddy. I've always been the buddy, but realized there's no way I can do it this year (race is in May). :( I'm pretty disappointed. I'm usually able to muscle through anything but I think the surgery plus still bothersome plantar fascitis got me this time.

    @k80flec.... I'm about 98.9% now!! Hope you feel better. Yea, feeling yucky will affect your running.
    @Laughter_Girl still.working it! Go girl!!
    @MelissaPhippsFeagins good to see you back

    @Laughter_Girl, lol! My March goals will.also be quite reasonable.

    Went to the gym yesterday! Just did 25 mins on the stationary bike, but it felt good to be doing something. I also found a new lifting program I'm going to follow once I'm cleared for that, it's with kettlebells. Totally outside my normal routine and comfort level, but I think that's a good thing! My take away lessons I've learned post surgery, injury, and marathon are that it's good.to be strong... physically and mentally. Numbers on the scale aren't reflective of that for me. So I'll be formulating some new goals coming up!

    Saturday and Sunday were interesting as I consciously didn't log my food - but I know I was ok. I've decided to 'decide' I'm in maintainence (after 3 years!!!) and to try to cut back on food logging!! I need to give serious thought to my March goals as this group is 'keep it Green'

    @bbinoa - I too need to revise my lifting - I have a review at the gym in a week - I think (know??) I've damaged my right rotator cuff. :'(:'( but I'm happy with my running - it seems to be progressing nicely.

    Kudos to everyone for the effort in February.

    PS I may be off grid for the next few days as I'm going to a cousins funeral in Scotland.

    Hello March!?!

    @bbinoa I really want to work on strength training too, but I don't know how to shift my thinking. I love those extra calories I earn from a good cardio workout, and the thought of not getting those worries me. Ha!

    @k80flec Sorry for your loss.

    @k80flec sorry for your loss. Safe travels to you!!

    I haven't been good w the keeping it green thing either, and also don't do as strict of tracking, but I loved connecting with our little group here so just do my thing and stay in touch. No one's kicked me out yet!!!

    @Laughter_Girl I hear you with the cardio thing. I'm still dealing with the foot stuff so I have to kind of rethink my workout plans.
