a second container of iced tea

Today I decided to always have two containers of iced tea working in the fridge.
What does this have to do with LNS? Well, last night I had the dreaded 2nd can of Diet Coke because the iced tea container was almost empty and I use the let-it-sit-and-brew-itself method of iced tea making that really takes overnight (cold water on tea bags in the fridge -- it makes itself).
So, a second can of Diet Coke. No cal. What's the problem? Well, the problem is that it sends me right into LNS. Part way through the can I was in the bread box with a stick of butter out. The sweetness in the Diet Coke just makes me hungry. Sigh.
So, this morning, I put two gallon containers in the fridge with water and teabags so I'll always have a full one waiting. It'll mean some other fridge shuffling but I think it will be worth it. Today, I'm staying away from the Diet Coke even if I need to drink pale tea-colored water for awhile.
Harrumph. :grumble:
