Hey everyone, my name is Dianne and I am 4 months away from my 50th birthday. My starting weight is 201 pounds and I am 5'1". 26 years ago before my first child I weighed 151 so that is an intermediate goal. I weighed in at 139 when I graduated high school so I would love to get back to that weight also. The "charts" say I should be in the less than 110 range which I have not been since 6th grade. I just can not see myself getting that small. I recently read a couple Kindle books from women who lost over 80 pounds and they both did it through food tracking and calorie control. I thought I should try . In 2007 I fought hard for several months and was down 30 pounds. Then my dad died and comfort eating took back over and I went right back to my current weight. I have been this weight (or within 10 pounds) for 15 years. So far this week has been much easier that'll I thought and weight is coming off. Excited for my future. Best of luck to all!

Intermediate goals. It is funny my youngest is 15 and my goal weights are all tied to the weights I began each pregnancy at. 191 for #4 183 for #3 167 for #2 and 151 for #1. The 151 will get me to the losing 50 pounds mark
I will get below 139 as a measuring point before I reevaluate where I want to be and how low I want to go. I have not weighed that for 32 years but know for my longterm health that is the most I should weigh and that is still heavy for my height

2 weeks complete and 16 more to go for this first phase of getting fit. Weight wise I am down 7.4 pounds. I did not make any changes to exercise and just tracked calories for the last 14 days. I did not eliminate any foods, did not deny myself anything. I can keep this up I know. I am feeling encouraged by seeing results on the scale

That's a great loss for two weeks. You're doing something right.
