Hip pain

Hi all. I normally run everyday and have managed to push it 3.5 miles just about everyday. except right now im having hip pain. It hurts to run and walk. I dont think its an actual muscle. At first i thought maybe it was my shoes but not so sure now. I made today a rest day (even tho i didnt want to). Any thoughts what this could be? There is no way i can not run everyday. I need / have to run. Any thoughts?

Front or side? I was just watching a vid on hip pain and they said if front, see the doc. If side you can self treat

Roll it out. Get a foam roller. I have hip pain that is really deep, but it is actually the muscle. It will hurt super bad the first couple times you do it, if you can get through it though it will feel so much better. Mine is gone now. I roll out after every workout and it isn't painful anymore because I am taking care of it as it goes along. It it is too painful maybe invest in a deep tissue massage first.0
