Good morning!

I definitely have a case of the Mondays today. I just want to climb back into bed...

Anyway, over the weekend I decided that I need to start being more realistic. I've been aiming for 1lb a week in weight loss and its just not there anymore. My made up goal weight is 20lbs away and I can't sustain that kind of deficit anymore without wanting to gnaw off my arm. So I've adjusted my weight loss to 0.5lbs a week (which is where I've been anyway), but its more about adjusting my perspective than my calories.

Pushing on.

Goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 12k steps
3. strength training

Good morning. Sounds like you have a plan SingRunTing. I know the last 10 for me is brutal. Still testing my plan out. This next 2 milestones will hopefully be the telling.

Today: LC day WOD, walk at lunch, HIIT, 1 gallon of water.

    It's sunny out here!

Happy Monday! This weekend was excellent! I stayed on point, but allowed for a little treat, which worked out in my favor. Ran my 8 miles that I wanted to get done yesterday, so that felt great! Scale is going down, so I'm hoping for another loss this week! Finally...after months...the scale is moving when my food is on point! See---80% food, 20% gym. :0)

Today's Goals: Gal of water, food on point, hit the gym, and stay on point!

@SingRunTing, sometimes that's all you need to do, is change your perspective! You can do it!

@SingRunTing, you can do this!!!! Sometimes we just need to refocus to make things happen! Also sometimes WHAT the scale says doesn't always mean we're NOT doing things right. I hope that made sense, lol.

Today, the scale is up 1 1/2 pounds, ugh! This weekend was right on for me as far as my diet and workouts! So I might have to toss the scale out, lol. Anyways today I have an appointment with my trainer.

    Today's goals
    1. Appointment w/ trainer
    2. Run plus a walk
    3. No late night snacking
    4. Make calorie goal
    5. Make protein goal.

Well I have gone back to the beginning and that is I exercise first. We'll see if that puts me back to where I was before winter put me in the slumps.

    Good morning everyone!!!
@CourtLloyd congrats on those 8 miles!! Spot on with the 80/20 rule!!!
@SingRunTing I'm proud of you for being kind to yourself and adjusting your plans to better fit your needs!!! You have reminded me that I planned on making adjustments myself but never followed through with them.
The weekend was good, yesterday's workout went nice and nutrition was decent. However, lately I have noticed my appetite has increased and I'm snacking on little things here and there. Thanks to @SingRunTing, I remembered that about 2 weeks ago I planned on dropping my workouts from 3 to 2 a week ;) but haven't done that yet. Seeing how today we are starting a new week, it's time for me to make good on my plans :)
Today and tomorrow I'm taking active rest days, I will focus mainly on covering the basics and see how I do.
    Let's have a fabulous Monday!!!

Good afternoon all, its been a full moon Monday in every sense of the word today. I'm up yet again after the weekend away but I am going to take my measurements this week as I feel like I am less squishy now that I was lol Fingers crossed that maybe another benchmark than the scales will show better results.

    Today's goals:
    mindful eating choices
    water
    HIIT class
    rest

Having an iron transfusion on Thursday so hoping that will help "perk" me up some. Want my energy back.

    Have an awesome day!

Hello everyone...sounds like progress is in the works! SingRunTing ...I like your plan! I have been vacillating between 127 and 129 for WEEKS. I am great with diet and daily exercise (fitbit) walking/cycling but am unable to knock down the last 5-7 lbs. Out of frustration (and also a need to offset a terrible daily medication), I have started to incorporate nutritious snacks back into my diet -a tbsp. peanut butter on a piece of bread is my fav. not the end of the world, and still stay mostly under 1200 cals. Just wanting to add some joy into the program. Working on finding the balance in what works...might take me longer to get to goal. It's a journey...not a road race!
