Progress... I have screencap proof!

I was browsing my Garmin Connect account to send my running buddy proof that my first marathon training cycle was a big injury-riddled, low-mileage mess (seriously; my highest mileage week was, like... 35). This then led me to compare last February to this February, and WOW!! I have made some serious progress! Last February and this February both mark the start of my spring marathon training cycles, but they don't even look like the same runner's data!
I've been seeing lots of new faces -- including many runners new to long distances -- around this group lately, so I thought I'd share this, because a year ago I could never imagine running the miles or times I'm running now. It just goes to show what time and diligence can get you!
(The screenshots are a little big, I apologize.)
Note: I also don't know anywhere else I can post these screencaps and have them be appreciated Glad I've got you LDR folks to turn to!

Great job! I love to look back at my old data and see my progress. It's a great motivator, especially when you remember those mornings you were out there doing hill repeats in the dark and freezing rain or waking up at 5 AM on vacation to get your run in before everybody else was up. It's all worth it when you accomplish a goal you never thought you could. No doubt you will get that BQ this year. It's bound to happen when you put in an effort like that!!0

Wow, what a big change!!
I hope to see some gains comparing this year to last as time goes on since last year was really the first time I planned on running for the whole year.0 -
What a great idea! It would be cool if the software could compare two different months for you. This is a good motivational tool.0

I exported everything from Garmin and put it in a spreadsheet. Easy that was to compare.
I'd put mine up but last February would just be embarrassing.0 -
Well done! Gives me hope for when I start training for my marathon later this year.0

This is the online database that Garmin watches upload to for analytical data. It's called Garmin Connect & I believe just about any Garmin watch can use it, i know my old 305 still does. The nice thing about it is the more features your watch has the more useful the data becomes. It will collect HR, stride rate, cadence, and much more. If you are a data junkie it's an invaluable tool.0
