Can Fitbit do this?

Can Fitbit change the mfp calorie goal? I'm not talking about it adding exercise calories, but rather the mfp number all the way on the left that shows your calorie goal BEFORE any activity.
I ask because mine just made a jump up without me changing anything myself, and I was wondering if Fitbit did it? I've had it for a few weeks now so did it change my goal based on what it sees my activity as? I'm set to sedentary, but this number looks more lightly active.

I don't believe Fitbit can change your goal settings within MFP. It will only add excercise calories to your daily goal. MFP will compare the daily calorie goal as you set it it and compare that with what Fitbit says you have actually burned and add the difference as and excercise adjustment.0

Ok. I don't know what I did on the mfp end then. Thanks.0

No, Fitbit can't change your calorie goal and the adjustment MFP does shouldn't show on the "GOAL" number on the left. That shouldn't change unless you update things.
I'd check all of my MFP settings if I were you. Including - go to the Apps page, select Steps (in the upper right) and make sure that "Fitbit Tracker" is shown as your step source. On the mobile app, just go to Steps. This is a recent and possibly ongoing bug that has affected some people.0 -
Yup. It had to be a bug because all of a sudden it straightened itself out. I didn't think Fitbit could do that. Didn't consider bugs.0
