Enjoy this healthy crisp berry flavored tea on a hot Summer day!
INGREDIENTS
1. 5-7 regular sized tea bags (depending on how strong you like your tea)
2. 2-3 cups frozen berries, defrosted
3. water
4. sugar to taste
DIRECTIONS
1. In a small sauce pan, add about 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
2. While you are waiting for the water to boil, place berries in a medium sized bowl and squish them with your hands or a fork. You want a lot of juice.
3. If you wish, sweeten the berries lightly with about 2 teaspoons of sweetener
(frozen berries from the store tend to be tart). Mix well.
4. Once the water is boiling, turn off heat and add the tea bags and berries + their liquids. Steep for 20-30 minutes.
5. Squeeze the tea bags very lightly to remove excess tea from the bags and discard them.
6. Add the mixture to a gallon sized jug and fill the rest of the container with water.
7. Sweeten to taste. ENJOY.
