but I've read and re-read the faq's and still am not understanding something.
During a workout, my fitbit tells me I have burnt much less than my polar hrm tells me I have. I have tried manually logging my workout and inputting the calories I have burnt according to my polar but the fitbit still adds less calories than I told it that I did, to my daily colories burnt total. Am I missing something here? What's a girl got to do to get her fitbit to accurately log the actual calories burnt during a workout?

    To figure it out, more specifics are needed. Which Fitbit do you have? If you have a model with a heart rate monitor, does the heart rate it records during the workout look approximately the same as the Polar? How and where (Fitbit or MFP) are you recording the workout? When you say "daily calories burned total" are you talking about a number you're looking at on Fitbit, or on MFP? The calories you log from a workout aren't the same as the "Fitbit Calorie Adjustment" you get in MFP. (Plus, right now, the link between MFP and Fitbit seems to be down, so you're not going to get any adjustment.)

    Sorry, should have been more specific.

    I have a charge hr. The heart rate is lower than polar during a legend chunk of the workout. It seems fine until it needs to go above 120 beats per hour which is very annoying as my hear rate hovers around 160-170 during the e tire workout.

    I record workouts on Fitbit by pressing the button and record food on mfp

    My Charge HR has no trouble monitoring my heart rates above 120. Peak HR YTD is 181 bpm.

    Normally I wear mine latched in the fifth to last hole (four holes showing to end of band) but I tighten it up one notch for workouts (five holes showing).
