She's ba-ack! Or at least trying to be. I have got to get my food and exercise act together. Soccer starts Saturday and ROTC has an event every week except one between now and the end of April.

I'm going to set an extremely modest goal of 15 green days. I've been logging, but keep forgetting to finish my day on here! I have gotten back to my normal weight (before various meds made me all bloated pre surgery). And that is holding steady, so I guess I've done ok!

For exercise still waiting to get cleared so I'm just going to keep plugging away at riding through stationary bike and trying to heal. Bigger and better plans for next month0 -

Exercise, yes! Biked again. I've been able to increase my time this week. Working up from 25 to 35 mins. Pretty pleased considering I'm 3 weeks out from surgery. I also went back to work for a half day today. I've been working from home this week, but had to go in for some meetings. Feeling pretty good, no problems. Will see how I feel tomorrow (it's 7:30 and I'm positive it has to be about midnight based on how sleepy I am. Lol!!)0 -

Ok, can I just whine a bit and say enough? Had to go back to the podiatrist today for a second cortisone shot since my foot is still bothering me. I've been off it, no running etc, and followed Dr's orders w everything. Dr now thinks it may be a nerve impingement issue and if it's still not improved after my 3rd shot in a couple weeks I may need.... surgery! Aaaah!!!! just feeling frustrated. I do think things happen for a reason and maybe a big ol'lesson in patience is what I'm learning now. On the plus side my deductible for the year is totally met, lol!0 -

Also got a walk in! Took it slow, but loving the 7o degree day here! Also woke up with the word "adapt" in my mind so pity party over, I'm going to just keep plugging along. Seem to be fairly well healed from my surgery so if I end up needing foot surgery, I'll just work on upper body! Oh, and I can also just keep knitting. My ponchos almost done.0 -

@bbinoa just keep knitting, knitting, knitting. Or take up swimming. Whichever. LOL. I am glad you are.feeling better and I have faith that you can adapt.
@Laughter_Girl I don't usually leave that many calories in the table, but I was exhausted on Sunday and sleeping was more.important than eating.

It was a good day, but exhausting like most of my Wednesdays. I facilitate a weight loss challenge at my church, and we meet every Wednesday. It makes for a long day, but I'm pleased because the participants are making progress. Yeah, for them!
@bbinoa I wanted to attach an image of the hot fudge cake, but I'm not that savvy. Ha, ha, ha. It's delicious, and I'm not even a chocolate lover.
@MelissaPhippsFeagins I completely understand about being exhausted. Most of the time though, I'm rarely too tired to eat. I'm such a pig. Ha, ha, ha, ha.

Do you have Shoney's in your area? It's the same as Big Boy and if I didn't have celiac disease I would pig out on hot fudge cake.0 -

Heading back to work tomorrow. I've been working from home the last couple weeks but time to go back. Just when I'd memorized my favorite daytime tv lineup. Darn. Feeling really good though. To "celebrate" I bought a bike on Friday. I've been using the stationary bikes but haven't had a real bike in years. Figured it would give me something to do while I continue to rest my foot.0
