2nd Day of July

Good morning!

I was a little more successful this morning. I woke up at 7 instead of 7:30. A small improvement, but an improvement nonetheless.

I decided that I needed to reevaluate my goal for the week. I went 4 miles yesterday with just my normal activities. (Evidently, estimation is not my forte.) I'm using Runtastic, a free app, to accurately track my walking/jogging milage. My favorite thing about it is that it also monitors your mph too. (Let's be honest, my favorite thing about it was that it was free. :D) I'm going to up my personal goal to 30. (I was thinking about 35, but my fiancee has a four-day weekend, and his presence is not conducive to productivity.)

How did you do yesterday?

Today, I will continue to track my milage, I will stay under my calories, (which will be a challenge because I'm making lasagna for dinner, and I could eat the whole pan myself) I will spend time with Elli the elliptical, and I will play some Wii Fit (best $21 I ever spent).

What's your plan for the day?

    Well, I haven't done well so far this month...I've been over on calories. However, I have done 6 minutes of Elli yesterday and 3 minutes today....I'm gonna get going this month....

    Don't beat yourself up about going over. It happens.

    You know when someone says, "She's really great, she just takes some getting used to." When I hear that, I automatically translate it into, "She's a jerk, but you get used to it." This is true of Elli, but she'll become your best frenemy.
