I need some cheerleaders!!!!!!!

I recently found out that I have diabetes type II and I am also hypo-Thyro. I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teen. From what doctors began to tell me is that it may be hard for me to conceive. Well at 15 that was the farthest from my mind so I wasn't worried. My period has been absent pretty much my whole life unless I was on birth control. I've maybe had 4 or 5 natural periods. Being 28 and married for 4 years now I really want a baby. I have been seeing my doctor and trying to take the right step towards my dream of family. I want to create a group for women who feel like I do. I blew up to 255 and after starting all my medications for my new found issues I have dropped about 18 lbs. But I still need a lil push. I need women to talk to who are trying to lose weight to conceive as I am. Anyone interested?

Best,
Becca

I am 100% interested!!! You have made a great start. 17 pounds is HUGE!!! And the fact you are taking control of your health is GREAT! I'm on here all the time. We can do this.

You sound like I did a few years ago. :) I was TTC and found out I had diabetes and it started feeling like one thing after another. After trying Clomid and miscarrying I did conceive on my own (lost 27lbs) but that pregnancy ended in stillbirth. Then lost more weight (17lbs) and conceived my daughter who is now 4yrs old. This all happened over the last 6yrs. So its a long journey but possible. I'm no longer TTC as I I've just had a hysterectomy in June. (life is full of stumbles) But if you need someone to talk to and to help you along your journey i'd be more than happy to be that person. God bless and Good luck~
