@Laughter_Girl - what does an adult gymnastics class consist of? Very interesting! Definitely sounds like a different way to get a workout. Hope it's fun!
@MelissaPhippsFeagins - I'm jealous your garden is in! The few 80 degree days got me in the mood for summer. Now it's going back to the 40s. Booo!

@bbinoa The class I attended could consist of anything in reality. We were free to play on the equipment. I will try it again but provide the instructor with some concrete moves I would like to learn. I was quite sore today. Practicing hand stands is a serious upper body workout.

I ate at an ordinarily safe restaurant on Tuesday and ate something cross-contaminated with gluten. I am miserable.
@bbinoa I will have to cover it against frost a couple of times, but I love shopping from my own backyard as soon as possible during the summer.
@Laughter_Girl I am not coordinated enough to do adult gymnastics, but it would be fun to go with my daughter. She gave up gymnastics for soccer around 8, and she still runs like there's a vault springboard in front of her.0 -

So excited... the fitness center at my work added some additional free weights. Yea! I had a really good workout on wed. Felt good to lift again, but I'm totally feeling it today!
@MelissaPhippsFeagins I like having my garden too. Planning to expand it this year. Can't put it in though till around May 1 here though.
@Laughter_Girl, good for you! Gymnastics is not my thing. I've got zero balance and a fear of heights. Our oldest and youngest kids have both done competitve cheerleading so they're both tumblers. I prefer to watch!0 -

You ladies are funny. I'm not coordinated either @MelissaPhippsFeagins. Thankfully, I wasn't doing anything that required coordination. What I did do, however, definitely gave me a workout. I've felt like I was in a car accident all day today. Ha, ha, ha. I told my husband that the areas that are sore today are not the same ones I felt Wed. I hope I'm back to normal tomorrow.0 -

@bbinoa Breakfast was yummy. I tried a crepe for the first time. I'm going to breakfast tomorrow too, but it's my birthday, and I have a right to celebrate. I already know I'm going over Saturday because that's when I'm having my birthday dinner. Oh, the struggles I face. Ha, ha, ha.

Well, tomorrow I have to eat healthy and exercise to meet my goals, but I plan to do it.
@bbinoa I'm glad you're getting your stride back. I really want to focus on strength training, but I rarely want to do it. I've got to get that together. I haven't been running much either. I guess I'm waiting for the weather to really break here. I did a race a couple of weeks ago for Cystic Fibrosis, and that was cool. The next one is mid April. It's a cheesecake run. I don't like cheesecake, but I think the race should be fun. Hopefully, you can get back there soon. Also, you mentioned accessories and it made me think about the new accessory I am waiting to receive. It's a new Garmin watch that's coming out next month. My hubby ordered it for my birthday, and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I am beyond ready to dump my Polar because I am sick of the chest strap. I'll definitely be ready to run once I get my new toy.0 -

@Laughter_Girl hope you hit your goal! I know you can do it!!! Which Garmin watch did you get? I had a misfit flash for a year, and got a Polar A300. It has the chest strap, but I don't mind it too much. I actually like everything it does. It's a bit bulky, but better than what I had before. I figure I'll have it for a couple years and upgrade again.
I've been doing all my strength training at work over lunch. I've figured out I can really hustle and get it done in a half hour. It's always the same handful of people working out too. Its pretty much the guys from my department using the free weights though, and they are an interesting group! Currently they are having a bulking contest with each other. There's a lot of posing and flexing going on. I've known them for years, and they really aren't these hulking muscle bound guys either, theyre just goof balls. but even knowing that, I still get super self conscious working out around them. It's been quite the challenge for me to get over that! Headphones and music save me!

@bbinoa I an getting the Garmin Vivoactive HR. Don't get me wrong about the Polar, it's been good to me. I've had it for 2 years now, and it was my very first tracker. I waited 3 months before getting it because I wanted to make sure I would get my monies worth. Well, after 2 years and 2 battery replacements later, I believe it served me well. I think I've finally earned an upgrade, and since I know I'll use it regularly, I know it'll be worth it.
Regarding the men working out trying to get buff, that's hilarious. I was able to clearly visualize it. Ha, ha, ha. You might be inspiring them a little. I'm pretty sure they're a little self conscience with you around too. Keep the music going for good measure though.0
