Calorie goal disparity

Hi everyone! I just purchased and set up my charge HR. Right off the bat I noticed a huge disparity between calorie goals (1930 on MFP, 1300 on Fitbit). I think I am confused on how the fitbit actually works... is your daily calorie goal adjusted based on how much you have burned? That's the only thing that makes sense to me..

Yes. Fitbit starts you off with much fewer calories, as they don't know how much you're going to move. By the end of the day, it should be on par with MFP's goals. Give it a few days to get there, though, as it learns you and your movements.

Thanks @malibu927 - that makes sense. For some reason my brain couldn't wrap around it earlier.
