Morning everyone!!!!
Well it actually looks like I just may have 2 days off in a row and a weekend to boot. LOL

So this week I want to still increase my exercising. finish the closet for my husband.
Monday I go to my primary Dr. and get my check up he hasn't seen the weight loss so we shall see how that goes. I had asked to either work early so I could hit my apt but my boss asked for me to work the late shift instead. So I'll be going from the apt to work. :|

I guess I am not on my daughters priority list as she had off all week and i asked her to come over and fix my computer and i still have not seen her. Yet she is zooming off to see her girlfriend an hour+ away. Oh well she knows where to find me in case of an emergency. Hope everyone ad a great weekend.

I still didn't seem to pull it back together this past week. So, today, I plan to make sure I've finished my house cleaning and the fridge is full of good stuff that's prepped and ready to go. I will enjoy sitting down and doing a meal plan for the week. Exercise will be in the yard this week attempting to get an area ready for some garden veggies.

@2020pinktogo Enjoy your time off. Your doctor should be happy for you and your weight loss tomorrow. :) I know about daughters. But then I think I'm the same way...I would love to spend time with my friends rather than have to go help my mom. I am older and more responsible now though.

@JMarcella57 You have a good plan for this week. I enjoyed myself for spring break and now am paying the price. Yesterday I was up 9.6 lbs! Today only 6.8. Hopefully, the weight will keep dropping quickly to where I was before my spring break started. I definitely need to plan my meals for this week, drink more water, and maybe increase my walking. I won't be planting a veggie garden, but I will stock up on veggies at my local market.

Sorry, I haven't been chatting on the boards much.

I had an assessment at the biokenetesist on Friday which was basically over an hour of 4 people telling me what is wrong with me! That side of it wasn't fun, but I know that they need to work out what needs fixing to determine how to fix it. Plus my favourite boy (he is like my little brother) is the head intern on the team so I get to do my rehab with him! I did find out that I had a grade 2 tear on my ACL which is why I had pain when I tried to fence in Jan. It wasn't bad enough to repair in the surgery in September, but I actually did the right thing by avoiding anything that hurt my knee for the last 6 months (which I mostly did because I was focusing on prepping for bjj competition) which has allowed it to heal quiet well! I was surprised that my doctor never mentioned it though. Looking forward to moving on to the next phase of knee rehab so I can get back to fencing.

Today I went for a walk along the beach, as a test to see if my brain objected! It didn't, so I am officially starting the gradual phasing back to full non contact training. Yay! It will be slow as I need to be symptom free for at least 48 hours before I can increase intensity to the next level. Going to do an at home yoga video I have tomorrow and if I'm still symptom free, go for a swim on Wednesday!

@CaptainBoing here is a hint I learned about my own brain injury and swimming make sure your in water where you can stand in case you get what I call the wonkey feeling. Mine comes with the water hitting the back of my neck I have severe left temporal lobe damage. But If I can stand up and get my head out of the water the feeling goes away and I know I'm not ready to swim just yet. Let us know how you do.

@NewOR2015 I have never been one to mind helping out my parents. But I'm not one to socialize. I have acquaintances and am considered very friendly I have a few people I would say yes they are my friends but we walk at the park type of thing. Just visiting people or going out to eat isn't my thing. I never hung out as a kid I had to have a purpose behind what I was doing.

Well today is the day I go see the Dr. I wouldn't be so nervous if I didn't have a rough weekend. I really love my Dr but he can be a little test crazy and I was sick this weekend so even though I feel better today my husband is like he's going to know you still don't look 100% :# So I'm just going to hope for the best and I'll let you all know how I do.

    Have a great day everyone!!!

@2020pinktogo Good luck with the Dr. I'm sure you'll do great. As for socializing...The only way I know how to socialize is with food. That's a tough habit to break. Since I have not been able to control my food intake while socializing I limit how often I socialize.

I've been much more careful with my eating these past couple of days. I've lost 5 of the 9.6 lbs that I gained on my spring break week, mostly water I'm sure.

The fridge is full of good stuff and I'm ready to go. Since January 1st, I'm only down a couple of pounds (been up and down) but that's where I am today. I don't want to continue to let time go by. So, after basically "maintaining" for the first quarter of 2016, I think my head is back in the game. No excuses!

@2020pinktogo Thanks for the tips. I will be cautious when I swim!

Back to work tomorrow. I have only worked two days out of the last 26 so I am really keen to get back to all my animals!

Dr's apt went well it's the first time in a long time I can say I liked the Dr's scale LOL. It actually had a better number than my home scale. I do have to have some testing what's new I swear he loves tests. We were arguing about what ones finally we agreed on an x ray if it shows something I will go on.

It turns out I wasn't ready for a full day of work. I think it was too much computer time that triggered the nausea and headache so I came home just after lunch. Tomorrow is animal focused so I will be spending minimal time on the computer and hopefully I can do the full day!

Hi, all! Good mowing weather lately. I mowed the backyard yesterday and front yard today. It used to take me 3 days to do the backyard alone. I love this new-found energy. I'm doing well getting rid of my spring break weight gain, only 3 more pounds to go.

@CaptainBoing - So sorry that your first full day back at work didn't go well. That must be terribly frustrating. Hope today is going better.
@NewOR2015 - I can hardly wait to get my office work done so that I can spend more time outside. Is it weird to say I'm jealous of your yard mowing time?
@2020pinktogo - ...and a good weight on the doctor's scale - Priceless! Hope your test on come out good.

Scale is finally moving back down this week. Two days being good...

@JMarcella57 I already finished the mowing, but you are welcome to come over and do the weeding around the plants and fence. Warm sun, fresh air, and if the wind blows again lots more leaves to rake again.

Yes, as kids, my mom made us pull weeds too. Now, my neighborhood association is my "mom" telling me to pull weeds.

Have too many weeds of my own. I'm trying to learn to just set time for different things and then just do it. I have some inside deadlines that have to get done before I can spend much time playing (I mean working) in the yard. :/

Today is errand day. Fun times. :|

I thought i was being a good wife and bought tuna fish for my husband :# NOPE it was the wrong kind. Well thank goodness I live in a small town and they all know my husband and when I went back and said it's the wrong kind they were like OH you got yelled at didn't you? they let me swap it for the right kind. Now it's just doing lots of laundry and paying the bills to cold and miserable out. I can't wait for spring. My mom was considering asking my sister if we could visit her in June when I have 2 weeks off. Then I said I thought you wanted the house painted inside she got excited and was like Oh yeah. I'll do whatever she wants if we stay home I can get some things done at my house too. I take her to my sisters I'll get nothing done. we'll see what she decides plus it'll be in prime golf season here I don't think my dad will want to go then. LOL

Tomorrow will be one week since I returned from my trip, and I am still hanging on to two extra pounds. I still think of it as a victory because it could have been a lot worse.

@2020pinktogo Just curious, which is the right kind of tuna? I buy StarKist in water, but all tuna tastes (and smells) like tuna to me.

My tuna is not albacore either, just Starkist blue label. :)

This morning I was just .8 of a pound over my pre-spring break weight, but today I started my Easter weekend and already overdid it on chocolate. Yum!

So in one of my other challenges the woman is trying on her wedding dress after 25 years. Which made me think of mine. Ok my daughter refers to it as something from the 80's how can she say that I got married in 92 LOL anyway back then I was one of those barely an A chest and they made a bra and stuffed the dress type of thing so the dress would look right. Well that isn't the case now I should really consider donating it.

Maybe you can wear it now without the stuffing! :)
