This episode has a few personal stories, and these are my favorite. The extreme behavior focus is very familiar to me, tracking my food and planning always feels extremes. It always feels like something fit people do, which I definitely am not. When I go too fast it prevents me from reflecting from the emotions that are dragging me down.

One of EB's messages here is that you have to understand the anchor you and that it requires time to focus on correcting those things. I am leaving this cycle behind. "Your core belief that you are the fat girl holds" you back, and she says when those thoughts bothered her she would say "today I am making progress and am staying in today..... I had to stop focusing on the future almost completely and bringing the attention to the present." I need to incorporate this in my life. I need the gentle, but intentional addressment of the anchors I personally have.
