As you all know its been crazy here with heat. I'm trying to find exercises to do not outside. I can't afford a gym membership and have a one year old. Do I have many options in saskatoon for days that we can't handle the heat?

have you tried drop in at the civic centers? they have sitters.... or you could do the walking track at the field house and push the stroler at the same time.....0

If you have Sasktel Max, there are some great exercise videos for free available! When my son was younger, I really liked the "Fit for Two" video; it is about half an hour and shows you exercises you can do with your child (like doing "kiss" pushups).0

Have you considered some video workouts? I am contemplating Insanity by Beachbody, which is a little pricey, but no equipment is necessary. I am going to purchase it and start Oct 15. That way it is done before Christmas... And I kind of want all the "oohs and aahs" at the family parties.... (A little vain, I know..)0

Sorry it's been crazy at my house. I'm currently 11 days post-op. I had a bowel resection. After my 6 week wait period. I plan to try Lakewood civic center with baby going to the daycare. I have to re build my stomach muscle where they cut through it. So it should be interesting. Also I got Jillian micheals shred it with weights and biggest losers cardio DVDs. Which I plan to start up. Hoping that kicks it all into high gear.
Oh my!!! Taste of Saskatchewan was delicious haha I know I shouldn't have but man was it tasty!0 -
Sounds like a great plan. Try some of the gentle aqua classes as they can really work your muscles if you put it ALL in.... they also have aqua at Lawson and Shaw. but Lakewood offers most classes in the mornings.0
