Quick question - back-to-back days

So I'm leaving town around lunch time today and tomorrow is my day 3 of lifting. There won't be a weight room, so I'm wondering if it's that big of a deal to lift two days in a row? I am thinking of just doing my day 3 this morning instead of missing it altogether this week.

I do occasionally, provided I'm feeling good. At the moment my squats are quite low and I only do 3x5 on them, so it's not such a big deal. But if you were doing heavy 5x5 squats it might be a different story.

I've done back to back before but just beware that once you start increasing weights or once it starts getting to heavy, it will be that much harder to them the next day. Your body will need that extra day of rest.

I ended up skipping it - I was cleaning the house and ran out of time before we wanted to head out on our trip. So, I'll be back at it tomorrow. In the past I would beat myself up over missing a workout, but I feel ok this time around. Progress :)
