What exercises don't I use fitbit for?

For example, I can use it for walking/running/jogging etc, but do I use it for HIIT?

    Fitbit accounts for all step-based exercises, and any other steady-state cardio through HRM reading (if you have the Charge HR/Surge/Blaze). If you have a lower model (Zip/One/Flex/Alta/Charge) or are doing something such as HIIT or strength training where heart rate won't necessarily correlate to what you burn, you can manually log exercises either through the Fitbit app (preferred) or MFP. You should still wear your Fitbit during the exercises so you can account for any steps taken.
