Glad to be home! Pain is only occasional and getting my fluids down, slowly. Feeling good though overall. Could use a nap.

Glad you are home and feeling better! I am with you on the nap thing - I am so tired/lethargic. Trying to keep myself moving0

Do your best. It was months before my energy came back. Especially right now, focusing on fluids instead of nutrition, you guys are going to be exhausted! Keep pushing through and you'll feel better every day!
Good luck you two! Glad you're both home and doing well!0 -
Thank you! Feeling better today - less lethargic and less pain. This weekend and one day during the week I am going to make some bariatric friendly soft foods. Going to make the pot roast that is on Eggface, the ricotta bake and egg custard so that I can ha e some more variety0

FYI...the ricotta bake DOES freeze well. I make the whole recipe and portion then freeze half.0

That's good to know...do you know how many servings the ricotta bake makes? The recipe doesn't say...0

I will have to look up those recipes!

The ricotta bake is really good - can't speak to the other recipes but they also got great reviews! Looking forward to eating some soft solids next week!0

Ok. The ricotta bake, for me, makes 8 servings. I have mini loaf pans that I do two servings per loaf, and get four loaves. Now, if you make it for your family, plan on that being one serving for you and maybe 2 more people and done. lol
@char_barr I add garlic, sometimes dried herbs, and I puree meatballs and add them to the marinara. (When my mom was in for my surgery she made me TWO HUNDRED meatballs, I have the stats per meatball. I am STILL going through them, lol!) Now, I may not add the meatball to the sauce, eat them on the side. Or do both. It's a simple, basic recipe that can definitely be tweaked to your liking!0 -
Please definitely share the meatball recipe - would love to try them when I am able to incorporate solids0
