Progress Pic Thread?

Is anyone else taking progress pics? If so, how often do you take your pics? Are you at the point of wanting to share them yet? Would anyone else want to post them here in the group? I don't really want to post mine in the message boards yet.. lol.. but I would kinda like to share them and thought our small group might be an encouraging positive place to do that. Would anyone else be interested in a discussion thread for posting progress pics?

OK I'm going to do it.. eeeek! I'm just so fracking proud of how much change I see so far!!! My original goal weight was 129 and I'm currently at 148. Starting weight was 173. My goals have changed a bit.. I'm in for how my body looks/feels/performs now. Screw the scale! Lets go muscles!!!
P.S. In case you didn't know already, I'm a 2x breast cancer survivor (17 years & 3 years) So I rock the mastectomy flat and fabulous look all the time. Don't be alarmed!

Thank you! I was surprised about how my back looked actually.. lol. You should definitely take pics.. for me it keeps my motivation up when the scale is stuck. I think if you're doing strength training you will be most encouraged by your progress in pics.0 -

This is the arm that has lymphedema.. a side effect of my cancer treatment 17 years ago. It collects extra lymphatic fluid and the old school treatment for it was to not lift more than a gallon of milk with it and never do anything physical with it. I lived in fear of using my arms FOR YEARS! New scientific study published last year showed that progressive, carefully monitored weight lifting was not only not harmful but good for preventing/treating well controlled lymphedema. It is still a little larger than my other arm, and will always be due to changes to the tissue that causes thickening of the skin but it is totally responding 100% positive to my new weight training. I'm so happy.. feel like someone that was in a wheelchair and has started walking again. I still have to watch it and be careful not to ignore signs of problems and wear my compression sleeves when I work out but I am so ecstatic with how it is doing. 4 weeks, 11 days into SL progressive lifting program.

WOW ladies...you all should be SOOOO proud of yourself!! You all look great!! Me....1) I was SOOO upset & embarrassed of the way I looked before I started.....you'd be hard pressed to even FIND a picture of me over the past 10 years (seriously...I TOOK the pictures...refused to get in them) & although I am down a few lbs. shy of 50....I still am not happy enough yet to take photos. You ladies are ripped....me not so much. Don't get me wrong...I am THRILLED at my transformation but I still have a long way to go. Maybe one day!!0
