Day 6

Hey everybody!
I made a lot of progress on my distance goal, yesterday! I walked 5.25 miles and did 1.25 miles on the elliptical.
Today, we're thinking about going on a hike since the heat finally settled down a bit. I love hiking! It reminds me of going camping as a child. I could spend all day in the woods, especially if there's a creek.
I'm going to jump on my Wii Fit, and get ready for the day.
Have a good one!
Love and hugs,
Dani

Wow!!, Dani, you walked 5 + miles....way to go, girl!! and then another 1.25 miles on the elliptical...that is awesome!!, you must feel great!! :flowerforyou: next the wii fit....your an exercise nut!!!, you go girl
How long does it take you for 1.25 miles on the elliptical? I can only do 4 minutes on that machine...I get so winded and and my legs are literally like jelly when I get off...I moved up from 2 minutes. My goal for now is to get to 5 minutes..
I have been staying under my calories but not exercising very much....only logging a couple of minutes a day on my Elliptical....that's not enough....Today I cleaned out a room that was really ready for it....
Well here's to you :drinker: Hope you have a great night....0 -
Thanks for the positive reinforcement, Mary! Much appreciated! My feet were a little sore this morning, but they felt better about halfway through Alonso's first walk.
It takes me about 15 minutes to do 1.25 miles. I'm working toward a 10 minute mile, but I'm not quite there yet. Do you know a place where you could try another elliptical to compare it to yours? I wonder if your resistance is stuck at a higher setting or if something is screwed a little too tightly. Either way, with persistence, you'll be able to reach and exceed your goal.
Add to your exercise regiment at your own pace. Remember, no matter how slow you're going, you're still lapping everybody on the couch.
Enjoy your evening!0
