Hi
Before I left for Tennessee I was making a smoothie for breakfast every other morning before work. The calories seem good, it's quick and easy! The question is is it okay since there's a lot of protein and I won't be working out until later in the day?
I used:
Skinny Miss Vanilla Protein Powder
1/3 cupMixed Berries
1/3 cup V-8 Blueberry-pomegranate juice
1tsp chia seeds
1 tbls. Ground flax seeds
1/3 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
1/3 unsweetened almond milk

What are your thoughts????

Why wouldn't it be okay? You need a decent amount of protein throughout the day anyhow, you're just getting it in the morning! It's more important to get protein within an hour *after* working out vs. before, plus some carbs. You're totally fine!

Yeah nothing wrong with it from what I can see. Protein is good for you, and it pays to have a good amount for breakfast :)

There are some good-tasting protein shakes out there. Just have to check out the options and read those labels.

Visalis sweet cream is a good base, but I added extracts and pudding mix (1/4 to 1 tsp) of various flavors to get a decent taste. To me, that added prep time and defeated the purpose of a quick breakfast option.

Zeal Vanilla Creme or Chocolate Delight both taste great to me.

These are the only two I have tried that I would recommend.
